REACTION PAPER ASSIGNMENT

 

You will be required to evaluate each New York City field trip.  This time it will be MIDTOWN!  In a well written two or three page reaction paper comment on the following:  TYPING AND DOUBLE SPACING IS MANDATORY!!

 

1.    What did you think of The Cathedral of St. John the Divine and our journey to get there? Describe your reaction to Grand Central Station.  What impressed you the most?

 

2.  Describe the NYC public library.  Is it what you imagined?

 

2.  How was Times Square? Where did you have lunch?  Was the place crowded?  Was it expensive?  Was the food good?  What stores did you visit in the Times Square area?

 

3.  Comment on Top of the Rock.  Was it what you expected? 

 

4.  What else did you observe taking place at Rockefeller Center? 

 

5.  Describe your impression of Fifth Avenue.  (The pace, the people, the products, the prices) 

 

6.  Comment on the stores you visited along Fifth Avenue.  Also indicate the type of store that it was.  Describe your impression of Trump Towers and FAO Schwarz.  Maybe a glimpse of Donald Trump?

 

7.  If you could by a gift on 5^th Ave for someone special what would it be?

 

7.  Comment on St. Patrick’s Cathedral and St. Thomas’ Church.  How are they the same and how are they different.

 

8.  Describe your subway experience.  Were you able to figure out the system?

 

9.  Finally, explain one thing you learned by going on this trip.
