The History Channel
In the search box on top right, you may type the general term "Cold War", or look for specific answers to your project questions by typing for example "Marshall Plan", "Truman Doctrine", a person's name "Joseph Stalin", "FDR", or a particular event. You'll find definitions including related terms and links.

Cold War Museum
This site is strictly related to information about the Cold War. According to their home page, "The Cold War museum site was created to establish a reference library to help maintain the historical accuracy of the Cold War. It's an organization dedicated to research on the political confrontations between East and West, from the end of World War II to the dissolution of the Soviet Union."

Look at the list of decades across the top of the page. By selecting a specific decade, and choosing important events from each of the 40's to the 90's, you can create your own timeline.  www.coldwar.org
