You'll find famous people birthdays, famous people deaths, and historical events that happen by day AND  month. Famous names;  actors, presidents, and events; earthquakes, fires, battles, and much more.

Use the pull down menu to select your particular month and day.   

The History Channel  www.historychannel.com/thisday/

A wonderful resource that allows you to view a short movie clip about an event in history.

-Type your birthdate into the "Enter a date" box.

-Click on "GO"

-View the short video clip regarding your particular event (includes audio)

-Scroll down list to view first a list of birthdates, deaths and then events.

When you are finished narrowing down your event or famous person you then need to create a thesis statement and then prove that statement by submitting a 1 to 1 1/2 paged report explaining why this person or event was important in history.

*Use the Facts.com Reference source which includes the World News Digest, Issuses and Controversies, Today's Science and the World Almanac Reference Database. Gives related topic links as well.
