Check out the following databases when researching your Global Issue;
- 1st -from the bookmarks located in the top left hand corner of your chrome books, select Virtual Ref. Collection
Once you're in the collection, scroll down to see the History/Geography column on right.
- SIRS -This database focuses on Social Issues, so it's a great place to start. Go to the Advanced search option to type in your country AND the issue you're researching. For example; Africa and Poverty. Read the summary of article, then look at full text before printing.
- World Geography & Culture - Select your country from the pull down menu on left. Select from facts under the county menu on left. Be sure to scroll down & select Country News -at the bottom of column on left- to see Current Event articles related to your country.

- ProQuest Education-K12. Select the Advanced Search option. Type in your country and the issue. For example; Latin America and Zika virus. Select from the various articles. Search terms will be highlighted through out each article.
