English 12R
English 12R is a course designed to prepare students for their lives after high school, whatever that path may be. The curriculum includes a variety of readings ranging from the ancient text Beowulf, to contemporary research and editorial articles. The writing curriculum begins with personal narratives and college application essays, and includes analysis, argument and research writing. An effort is made to turn students into life-long readers.
